Snap Pic Text app for iPhone and iPad

The purpose of this app is to improve productivity. You can use this app to extract text from picture. Imagine reading some important quotation or a interesting paragraph in a text book, and you wished to copy the text of that paragraph or quotation, so that you can use it later somewhere in your writings. Imagine discussing and jotting down some important ideas on white board. It would have been so nice and productive if you could have emailed the text of the those ideas to yourself or someone else.

Well, you can now use this app to capture text. Follow following simple steps to get best results:

1) Tap anywhere on first screen to go next screen, which can used to extract text from pictures.
2) Click on "Snap Text" button take picture of text. For best results, use your camera in vertical position. Try to avoid any special character, line, or image.
3) Once you got the picture of text, click on "Use Photo" button to extract text from picture.
4) While app works to extract text, activity in progress widget, will keep rotating.
5) Extracted text will be presented in text area.
6) You can edit the text.
7) To finish editing, click on top right button "Edit/Done".
8) You can email extracted text by pressing "Email" button on bottom right.

Current version of app does not work well if you take a picture of text which contains any special characters, dashes, lines or images of objects. It also does not work well if take tilted photos, or take photos in landscape mode. We are working on professional version, which will resolve these issues.
